Finding Home

This novel on adoption is inspired by the life story of Jaci's daughter, Jada Grace.

Bella is one month old when her mother abandons her at a run down daycare in Durban, her destiny left in the hands of strangers. Haunted by the repeated rejection of her early years, she longs to find where she truly belongs. This is her journey as she searches for her true home, guided by the hand of her one constant Father.

Chelsea was brought up in an affluent farming family on the North Coast of Kwazulu-Natal. She knows she wants to do something significant with her life, but she’s not sure what it is. She and her husband, Derrick, find themselves risking their reputations, their inheritances and their family relationships to do what they believe is right with regards to adopting. Along the way, Chelsea is forced to admit that her mind and heart do not always align, and the unconditional love she has for her adopted African child is marred by the sporadic exposure of underlying racial discrimination in her patterns of thinking.

Inspired by a true story, this novel is a call to lay down agendas and fears and to have the courage to follow God beyond the safety of familiar shores. It will challenge you, inspire you, and leave you hungry for the 'more' that God has for you.

Purposeful Parenting

A parenting manual for the early years of parenting that takes it's inspiration from our Heavenly Father.

Parents often fall into two categories: There's the parent who is feeling overwhelmed and like they've bitten off more than they can chew, and the parent who is coping with the daily demands of parenthood, but finds themselves thinking there must be more to life. If you think parenting is too big a job for you, or if you think parenting is too small a job for you, then this book is for you.

Raising children probably ranks as one of the most challenging, daunting tasks you've ever attempted. It is not only unending physical hard work, but it also has ramifications that will echo for generations to come.

Author, Jaci Mun-Gavin, unlocks the reason why parenting should and can be the most impactful and rewarding job of your life and helps you to understand God's purposes both in your life as a parent, and in your role of releasing your child into their future. Purposeful Parenting gives an inside view into the life of a mum with young children, and while sharing some funny mistakes and challenging moments, brings hope and inspiration as to how we can be better parents by following God's example.
